It is a little noisy, we have to turn TV up when it is running but it sure puts out the cold air and makes the room comfortable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's much quieter than our previous portable a/c unit. I can hear the fan blower, but not the compressor. We sleep just fine with it on. My decibel meter shows our room is normally at 45 decibels at night (normal for a quiet home). This unit adds 15 decibels when on full a/c (high fan) so the room measures 60 decibels. It could even be a little bit louder, all it means to me is that I turn the tv up a few extra notches. Great Buy!
