Diameter is about 5 and one half inches. So a 5 inch hose could fit inside. The hose itself does definitely disconnect from the at unit plastic mounting hardware and it appears to be able to disconnect from the at window mounting hardware as well. In any case, works and cools great. Now 5 weeks old.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Eyeballing with a tape measure is about 6" in diameter. This unit has an oval shaped exhaust nozzle that is 9" x 3". The factory provided plastic insert for the window is cheap but effective. It could use an upgrade. Let us know what you come up with.
