To listen to the audio all you need is an aux plug in your car. To watch the videos on your screen in your car you would have to check with the dealership or radio manufacture for the proper cables.

This product plugs in the earphone jack and will transfer sound like "earphones " but instead of to the earphone speakers you can plug it into an aux input port.

An aux cable connected to the aux port on the stereo and the other side into the headphone port, will allow u to hear the movie thru the vehicle's stereo however u will still have to watch the video using the iPhone built in screen. Hope that helps, Drak

You don't need an adapter. Simply plug one end into the iPhone's headphone port and the other end into the AUX port in your car (assuming your car has one). Then set your car radio to play from the AUX port.
