Hello Suzanne, thank you for your question. You can absolutely use the Insignia 65" F50 Series Fire TV with the regular buttons and the remote without needing Alexa or voice commands. Alexa is optional, it's there if you want hands‑free control, but all core functions like changing channels, adjusting volume, navigating apps, and selecting inputs work normally with the included remote and on‑screen menus.
