it means yor not getting a good seal something is keeping it from closing all the way. if the whole freezer inside is like that its time to defront itbut only if ice is as thickas the wuth of your thumb. it can be removed with a rag soaked it hot water as hot as you can stand without burning yourself udually hot water from tap will work
