Can't speak for other cables but the actual wire gauge of these are much more substantial than previous cable designs intended for usb 3.2, 3.0, pre 3.0 etc. Ultimately its math, your likely pulling up to 20V through it. Watts divided by Volts = inrush current (IC). Fatter conductors, more of them collectively = more surface area. This allows you to pull more amperage without insulation heating or cable deterioration
