• You should be able to. I am using mine in a cabin that I use on some weekends. I do not leave the heat on when I leave and it does get pretty cold inside. So far I have not had any problem.

• No.. Unless you have heat in your garage I found this refrigerator doesn't work in either very cold or very hot weather. In fact after using it for only 2 Summers it has stopped working completely. Look for a different refrigerator.
