Bought this for my tiny apartment with narrow stairs. MAN THIS WAS A GREAT PURCHASE. Not only did it fit making it easier for ththe deliveryman but it's not bulky and holds enough food. I'm so happy I made this purchase. And to top it all off, sleek design is beautiful. Highly recommend.

Great fridge for an apartment. Not too big, not too small. Runs very quiet. Dosent wake up my cat when he's sleeping on it. Don't have to max out the settings to keep things nice and cold.

This unit is perfect for small apartments! It has plenty of storage and has a very modern style to it that allows it to be appealing in any kitchen. The storage is adequate for the size of the unit and the shelving in the door is very convenient for beverages, allowing more fridge space to be used for other items. I would highly recommend if you have a smaller space or if not many people are using the fridge. The value and quality are unbeatable.

We needed an option to replace our Norcold in our 1999 Thor Chateau and this fit perfect! Works great and is so much roomier than the Norcold. 5 stars for sure!

We needed a small white refrigerator to put in our garage apartment. This one was affordable and had the basic features we wanted. It holds enough fresh food (produce, dairy and meat) for the two of us for several days plus condiment items. After seven months, it is working perfectly.

Only me and my bf here so we need something big enough for 2 and small enough for our 1 bedroom apartment so this one is perfect for us. Does the job and work very quiet and still enough room for food that we need and doesn’t take too much space from our apartment. The price is great and it looks gorgeous to me. Recommended!

Perfect size for secondary fridge. Needs to be turned up a bit more than some to make sure it stays cold enough...at least for the fridge portion. Runs very quiet and quite a lot, so we’ll see if it’s as efficient as it it suppose to be. Overall excellent value!

My Son moved into his apartment and every refrigerator that I looked at was too big for the little spot that was provided but thanks to the insignia 9.9 Cu.Ft Top-Freezer Refrigerator it solved the situation with ease. Not only did it fit in that small spot that was provided but it held enough food in the freezer and the fruit and vegetable bins as if it was a large capacity refrigerator. I’ve always bought a major brand appliance so I’m really elated that it works very well for him. It’s the right size and that’s one major concern solved.

I loved this fridge when I saw it. It was the perfect size for the space I needed for and price was even better. Unfortunately it did it last a even a year. Thanks God the store replace for another one but the same thing happened it did it work, to be specific the freezer worked but not fridge. I am so glad the store offered me to get a different brand and refund me the money and use for my new refrigerator.

After looking through dozens of small refrigerators, the Insignia unit looked to be the best deal available, most economical, and reliable. The unit fits into small spaces and has been very reliable. The unit uses very little power and is very silent. The LED lighting inside provides plenty of illumination. The freezer is great for keeping frozen meals and snacks available.

We got this fridge to replace our old one that didn't survive the hot summer. As there's only two of us in the house we didn't feel we needed a huge fridge so decided to take a gamble on a slightly smaller one like this. Also the price was so good compared to the ones only a little bit bigger. It's got plenty of space for all we need, freezer is a good size too. Keeps everything nice and fresh.

My daughter was approved for a larger refrigerator than the typical mini fridge in most dorms. This was the largest size the school would allow, and it was much cheaper than some smaller options. Fit inside my Ford Expedition and wasn't too difficult to get into her dorm room. She loves the increased space over the old mini fridge!

The main reasons I wanted this fridge were the smaller size and the extremely good energy efficiency rating as it's THE MOST EFFICIENT sub-$1000 fridge on the market and the 1990s full-size one it replaced was loud and rusted and almost falling apart. I hesitated on buying this fridge for three reasons. One, it's half the cubic feet of a "normal" fridge and I wasn't sure if I could fit the foodstuffs for three people in it. Two, it's Insignia which is Best Buy's house brand and which I've gotten duds from before (though mainly just cheap computer stuff.) Three, the negative reviews are pretty convincing. I'm pleased to report that after a solid month of owning this fridge, I am a very happy owner with no complaints. It IS small: you can barely fit a large pizza box on a shelf, you won't have room for a frozen whole turkey or a bunch of standard-size ice trays (it comes with a great smaller one), and you have to be more clever with how you stuff things into it. It has forced me to think twice when buying food and keep the fridge clear of old stored food (by eating leftovers more often or tossing things instead of letting them rot in the back), two handy side effects that have saved me money beyond the cost of the fridge. The negative reviews that complained about ice cream were the worst, but I have found both of them to be ridiculous; one complained that it was too hard while another claimed it couldn't freeze ice cream solid. Not freezing ice cream to solidity is actually a serious food safety issue, so I was initially worried that the freezer wouldn't reach the correct safe temperature. I did have softened ice cream in the beginning, but ended up boosting the freezer to maximum cold and the refrigerator to 4/5, and both now maintain proper safe temperatures without a hitch, even after frequent opening. The other complaint was that it was too noisy after a while (others said it was quiet) but for me it's always so quiet that I don't notice it's on! The lower height is helpful since there is a short person living here who can now comfortably reach the top of this fridge. I have zero complaints and I don't think I could have found a better fridge for my household. If you are looking for a highly efficient, more compact, and quiet alternative to your decades-old six-foot clunker of an icebox, you can't go wrong choosing this.

This refrigerator is just the right size for an extra unit for overflow. I can hardly hear it run when it does and it does not run often. Overall it has plenty of room and is an energy saver over my old frig. Recommend

I use to have a small 1/4th size 2 door whirlpool fridge but needed bigger. Read the electric use between the 2 and this fridge uses less I was blown away!! Just goes to show upgrading appliances every couple years is a must because they make them more energy efficient all the time. This fridge does have separate controlls for each section freezer/fridge very roomy and shelves are adjustable. Great for apartment type living or roommate type situation where you need your own personal fridge. Highly recommend.

Bought this on a deal of the day under $300 as a 2nd fridge in auxiliary area so didn't have to go to supermarket everytime something ran out or the weather changed and battle the crowds for milk/water/bread. Works well. quiet. big enough to be usable yet small enough to require a small footprint somewhere other than the kitchen. Would also be fine in a small apartment kitchen but at full price there may be better medium/larger choices.
