Please try again later.The elements and conditions the batteries are stored in play a major part in the life expectancy- that is a hard question to pin to a specific timeframe but 3 yrs is a good # if batteries are stored appropriately. **Putting batteries in a refrigerator helps hold the charge while being stored**

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can't exactly answer for shelf life but I have not had any problems with these batteries. I haven't had to change any out excessively. We keep one each of the AA & AAA and haven't had any problems with them working when we need them. Hope that helps.
