Apparently this is only for Bluetooth 'input' - play music FROM an android or iOS device. To use it for Bluetooth 'output' (connect to Bluetooth headphones or speaker) I would recommend a rechargeable Bluetooth transmitter/receiver, which would plug into the headphone jack then via the Bluetooth transmitter/receiver you can connect your headphones or speakers. The problem with doing that on this particular model is that this boombox does not have a USB port (as most other models without Bluetooth built in have for connecting a device to stream from), which you would need to power the transmitter if the battery on the transmitter runs out and you aren't near a power supply. If you are near power supply at all times then you can power your boombox and transmitter but if you plan to stuff your boombox with batteries and take it on-the-go to use with Bluetooth headphones then just make sure you have charged up your transmitter. I use Bluetooth transmitters on my TV's (plug into headphone jack/power via USB port on the TV) to enjoy my shows with my favorite, killer wireless headphones. A transmitter is a must-have for any Bluetooth needs!
I would recommend:
