“I purchased the boombox to listen to a CD to help me go to sleep. It does not automatically turn off when the CD is finished. Is it a problem to leave it on until morning? Will it get overheated or cause damage to the player?”

So far when we left the CD player on, Yes, it did not turn off....but the sound did. It was only the back light that stayed on. It did not heat up and we left it until the evening of the same day. Hope this answer helps. Damage ? We don't know.
