The difference is in the way the cable from the antenna attaches to the power supply module. In the original model, the cable from the antenna is molded into the power supply module and cannot be unattached. In the v2 model, the cable from the antenna has a coax connector on the end that is then plugged into the coax receptacle on the power supply.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same question and found out its updated firmware. The newer version should be better or the same. I decided to go with the newer version and it works great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Insignia™ NS-ANT700HAV2 and the older NS-ANT700HA models are quite similar, especially in terms of their power amplifiers and overall design. Both models feature a 60-mile range and are designed to receive VHF and UHF signals, providing access to free HD channels. The main differences between the two models might include: 1. Design and Build: The newer model might have slight design tweaks or improvements in materials used, making it more durable or aesthetically pleasing. 2. Software and Firmware Updates: The newer model could have updated firmware or software enhancements that improve signal processing or user experience. 3. Accessories: There might be differences in the included accessories, such as the length or quality of the coaxial cable. However, if the power amplifier and basic specifications are the same, the number of channels you can receive will largely depend on your location and the strength of the broadcast signals in your area.
