Yes, you can use any USB cable (Standard to micro) that can be used to charge a cell phone.

Yes any cable works as long as the fitting is correct. The cable that it came with when I purchased this was terrible and wouldn't stay connected to my controller after a few days use. The battery pack itself is great though.

Yes any cable with the same mounting fits. The cable that comes with this is ideal though. It's long and has a led light on the extremity that plugs onto the controller that shows how much charge the battery has. Orange for charging and green for charged. It charges while playing, once green you can unplug the cable and continue playing without affecting gameplay.

Any usb cable works but the mini plug must be the smallest you can get.
