“is there supposed to be a cover on the bottom of the clock/radio where the power plug connects to? there seems to be a small latch on the side where a cover might attach to but that was not included with the clock radio”

My radio also has an empty back where the power plugs in. Mine has tabs and notches that look to be for a cover, but I also did not get one. These may be for another model, or they could be for removing the front face for repair.
