• You can connect it to your PS5. But you are right. There is no point in this if you can’t use the wall charger. If you have a usb type c block already then this will work for u. If not then get the PS brand. That comes with one

• You can connect it directly to the PS5 and it will charge your controllers while it is either on or in rest mode.

• You literally plug it into the USB-C port on the front of the PS5, super easy and convenient. I hope this helps. I also believe they provide instructions in the box.

• You don't need a wall charger. You connect to the USB-c outlet on the console if you have PS5.
