• I had the same issue, it seems you must buy a Kinect in order to use that function unfortunately.

• This controller has the option to directly control TV volume, and or sound bar/center volume as well as TV power Xbox power single or double click for most TVs. In other words, I walk into the room, pick up the remote, click power, and both the Xbox an the Samsung TV power on and then I can adjust the volume. Likewise, when I am done, I hit the power button, confirm on the XBox that I want to shut down and both the TV and the XBox shut down. I haven’t been this excited about a product for a long time.
