• going to depend from model to model. it functions fine with our tablets, PC's, cellphones. There's an included adapter that helps address some connectivity issues with certain devices.

• Yes, but if it is newer iPhone there is no port for banana plug anymore. So you have to get an iPhone adapter that is female banana plug on one end and iPhone charging port plug on the other end of the adapter.
