Yes, you can answer calls from the speaker, but be aware there is no microphone built-in, so it will use the one on your phone. I've paired ours with a Galaxy S7 Edge, 2 LG V10s, a Nabi tablet and an Amazon Fire tablet. I'd say it does fine with Android.

yes you can it has a dedicated button for that. pairs well with any phone that has bluetooth
