QuestionIs there a way to lower the volume of the startup and connection tones. I use my speaker in an office and my co-workers across the room can hear when my bluetooth has connected to my speaker. It's such a disruption that I may have to find another one.

- Answer I do not believe there is. You can try placing the speaker to your leg in an attempt to mute or lower the sound. But there is no setting for it that I know of.

QuestionI want to pair this with an Amazon echo dot. Some speakers have an auto shutoff, which means that you have to physically turn on the speaker in order to use it with the dot. Will this speaker remain on at all times or does it have auto shutoff?

- Answer It does not say. But I would think it is 10 to 15 or 20 watts. It is decent sound and louder than any cell phone. I would say it's about 5 times louder.

- Answer No. Google Home Mini has neither 3.5 audio jack nor BT. It only works with Chromecast enabled devices. Buy Amazon Echo mini and it will connect with this speaker. Echo Dot has both audio jack and Bluetooth.

Questionwhat is the distance range for the Bluetooth. I want to get this for my sons room but be able to have my cell phone in my room, we are in the next room with only a wall separating us. it would say its only about 12 feet but there is a wall between us.

- Answer I have gotten a good 100 feet away with no walls. With walls about 25 to 30 feet. I do believe it says 30 feet. But like I said outside with nothing blocking the signal I have placed the speaker on my patio and walked over to my neighbor across the street and not only did it still pick up the signal but I could still hear it playing. [ I went about 50 to 60 feet away]
