QuestionWhen I cast or use these as blue tooth speakers there is a very noticeable lag, probably around 2 - 4 seconds. Is there a fix for that? I tried to use the tool in Home app, but it only goes up to 200 ms. Non Insignia speakers work in this case.

- Answer I am using two of these speakers without WiFi and just syncing them by holding the + and - buttons located on top of the speaker as mentioned in the instructions. I can choose from my cell phone to play music from my phone from either speaker one at a time.

QuestionThe box and manual both state that this device will display temperature down where the volume display is. What needs to be done to enable this feature? I have yet to have it display the temperature...

- Answer The temperature display is temporary, when you ask the temperature. Showing it on the box is a little misleading, as though it were constantly displayed.

QuestionI can send broadcast but cannot receive broadcast. I have the bigger version and a Google Home Mini and those two work fine.

- Answer Mine stopped working as well. Really unfortunate as the use for this was mainly as an alarm clock and a broadcast receiver.

- Answer A smartphone or tablet isn't required to use this device. A PC equipped with Bluetooth can be used to output sound from a PC.

QuestionI have 2 big Insignia smart speakers,v 314, and v 1.32.xxxx, I paired them right and left and worked nicrly and display clock time correct both. Just these few days one of the pair instead of displaying time, now just 3 letters,SEt, do still play music.

QuestionI have purchased 5 of these speakers now. I am having troubles getting each one to play. All music and responses are played through 1 speaker even though I am requesting through a different 1. They aren't grouped as I want them to be independent.

QuestionCan't set up. "set" was displayed but google home couldn't find it. Tried to reset by pressing n holding speaker button, "set" gone and 4 lights blinking slowly. After several tries, all lights were off! Power LED on the back is off, too! It's fully dead

- Answer Try leaving it charging for a day (or several hours). I had a similar experience and it "fixed itself" by having a full charge. Then try to connect it to your Google Home.

- Answer You're SUPPOSED to be able, but... Mine does connect, but crackles, skips and drops out, even from very near by, making it virtually unlistenable. Meh, I have lotsa other ways to play music around the house. I basically use this to listen to NPR and have weather forecasts hollered at me.

QuestionCan the alarm clock be programmed to play music from an iPhone that is in a different room? What about a different floor? My son has to keep his phone in the kitchen at night and he wants to wake up to music, instead of an annoying beep.

- Answer It can play music through Google Play Music or YouTube Music, as well as Spotify. It cannot play music downloaded into the iPhone, or through Apple Music as an alarm.

QuestionI recently paired 2 speakers as a stereo. Worked great for a week, but then stopped working overnight. I've reset both speakers and paired again three times now. There also are "orphan" names from previous pairing attempts in the app. What gives?

- Answer If you have both a 2.4Ghz band and a 5GHz band Wi-Fi, make sure that you have it all set on the 2.4GHz band.

- Answer That is somewhat tricky because there are multiple songs called "Out of the Dark". When seraching the song up, it could either be from Falco or Mandisa.
