If you switch to single lens, no one would be able to tell it's film a 360 camera. The quality distortion is when you set the resolution to 360 view.

Believe it or not they are actually really great, I'm no professional but from my use I'm absolutely happy with it!

A small amount of distortion is noticeable in the stitch line. As you become more familiar with how to use the camera, you will be able to minimize this distortion. A simple answer is to be sure one of the camera’s lenses is pointing at the desired object being recorded and the stitch line at a less desirable filming location.
Filming is easy. Editing is difficult. I wouldn’t recommend this camera to someone that has never edited a video.

The pictures are of excellent quality. You can use single lens or both.
