Does the outside get hot when using? null

Yes. I haven't touched it but there's a sticher on it saying so, and you can feel heat rising above it. The handle stays cool. It says to leave 5 inches of space on all sides.

It not bad... just like any mini oven some heat but not bad.. so far so good.. we love it
