“I have a smart TV and a Samsung BR DVD player. They were each bought at the end of 2016 and I don't have their model #s on hand.I currently watch a DVD on the TV via an HDMI cable connection. 'd like to do the same w/o HDMI cable. Does this do the job?”

IOGEAR says: The GWHDKITD will work with Most HDMI sources . This must be a direct connection for both the Transmitter and receiver. Once again thank you for choosing IOGEAR.
