Yes, I can steam youtube and netflix from my computer or iphone. If you use iphone, I use the apple dock connector. And click iphone control center's music manual to choose audio play from bluetooth rather than HDMI to get a good sound quality!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No this will not stream movies. The unit can not display HD movies because it does not support HDCP protection. The brightness is only good in low light conditions. I have displayed some YouTube videos in low light and it works fine for that purpose. You could used to display a tablet video as along as you don’t play videos like anything from iTunes or any streaming service. The microphone is fine and audio is ok. I don’t recommend you get this for anything more that a toy. It has limited use.
