• All recording modes are at fixed levels (not sure what the VU meters are for really). Digital recordings are saved to USB stick/MicroSD card at 128kbps when you connnect via the aux-in and 160kbps when you conect via bluetooth. I'm not sure, but I think that may be a drop in quality compared to your quoted source.
