• Yes, you can. But be forewarned: there is a LOT of background noise when doing so. You have to get yourself pretty close to the mic. I personally am going to try plugging an external mic into the AUX jack, set the selector on AUX and try that. I believe it will be better.

• Haven't tested out yet. But it was made for that. It even has a built in mic
