• yes it can remember multiple floor plans. this is why Roomba offers extra vacuum bases for this unit. you can physically move it to different floors. However i would just buy a 2nd unit. They are that good.

• Yes, we have it programmed to do both our upstairs and lower floor. We just carry the base upstairs when we want it to clean there. The robot remembers both plans.

• The I7/I7+ is supposed to be able to map up to 10 floors. Mine is struggling to map a third floor, but it's supposed to be able to handle it.
