The JDA214 needs to be connected to the computer via VGA and USB-A, then an HDMI to HDMI cable out to the monitor, TV, projector. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you have Windows 10 it will auto detect the device and set up the drivers you need for video and audio. I am using mine with an older Alienware MX18 which I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10, I plugged in the device and hooked it up to a new 4K tv and the OS auto detected what I needed and worked great without requiring anything else.
