Yes if your using the right ear bug only way to use the right if you have the right ear bug near you because of the pairing, You could call Jabra support to double check. I just lost my right ear bug and ordered a new one and couldn't get the left to work without pairing them.

If you're deaf in your right ear, I am deaf in my left can we not send each others' unused earbud to extend the life use of our gear?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but it must be the right earbud. I'm a runner and when I'm in a race, I only use the one earbud so I can hear clearly out of my left ear.

You can configure the bugs to allow audio to play with one ear bud out. If you are deaf in the right ear, I am afraid It won’t work. IN the JABRA App select the “Focus” icon (man sitting at desk) then touch the settings (looks like a gear) - Then audio experience. Turn off the Auto-Pause audio. You can take the LEFT ear bud out, and the music will still play in the right side. (Not sure about the stereo quality though.). Hope that’s helpful.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only the right earbud will work by itself. To use the left earbud, you have to have the right earbud.
