“My last pair of Bose QuietComfort ear buds cancelled incoming noise well, but the OUTGOING phone audio is not noise-cancelled (for example normal driving road noise affecting clarity). Do these Jabra's cancel outgoing noise as well as incoming? Thanks!”

It was a software update and frankly it's the weakest part of the advertised features of the headphones. They are, however, an excellent headset for use with a phone, but I wouldn't expect a different result than the Bose.
