“Can an owner of the original non active 65t comment on the fit and stability difference with the active version? Curious if that and the extra IP rating is worth a look, or negligible.”

I have both. (The second pair is for my wife). They are the same size, shape and weight. Besides slight color differences, the Active have a rubberized texture on the earbuds and on the charging case. The manufacturer's web site also indicates that it has a motion sensor, but I have not seen any difference when using the iOS app. The silicon gel pieces look the same as the standard model. Battery life and other features are the same. I've been using the standard model since it came out and the Actives for a few days, and didn't notice any difference in how they fit on my ears. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have both. They fit exactly the same. The only difference between the two are the IP56 rating and the black rubberized finish on the Actives. The Actives also have motion sensors in them but you cannot feel any difference between the two. If you have $20 to spare, it is well worth buying the Actives over the Elites for peace of mind with extra water resistance and motion sensors.

Only real difference is the IP rating, with the active having a water/dust resistant rating, and the "rubbery" textured outside. If your not using these to workout, run, or out doors where you might get stuck in the rain, save the $20.00 - $30.00.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Honestly if buying at full price... no. Not worth it unless you'll be using them and testing capabilities. Ive now owned both but i don't notice a big difference but i will say the feature that projects noise around and amplifies it which basically turns them into hearing aids is legit as but did work better on the non active version. On sale for the price non active usually goes for is a good price. Just depends on luck and if you'll get a good pair. I might have got a dud. Also the jabra app includes an update for the buds, don't update as it will cause the music to sound as if it's coming more from the right bud.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I own both the active and regular 65T's and I don't see any noticeable difference between them. Aside from the IP rating, there's really not much difference. Both fit exactly the same and fit pretty snugly in the ear.
