- Answer Do you mean a separate power bank? The speaker itself is the power bank. It should have a usb port on the back.

- Answer To connect the JBL Charge 5 to your iPhone, turn on the speaker and press the Bluetooth button to enable pairing mode. Go to your iPhone's settings and turn on Bluetooth as well. Scan for nearby devices and look for "JBL Charge 5" under the list of available devices. Tap or select the speaker's name to pair and connect until it shows as connected. You may play music from your iPhone once it's connected to the speaker.

- Answer No. It will work with other JBL speakers that were released around the same time. (I.e charge 4, clip 4,extreme 2 and etc/ charge 5, clip5, extreme 3 and etc.) The JBL Connect app can tell you more.

- Answer It can play from a connected Bluetooth device. The USB memory card would need to have Bluetooth and be able to play on its own. This is a speaker only, not a memory card reader/player.

- Answer You can but it's not preffered, it's best if your adapter has a smart charge function so it won't overcharge the battery.
