Is it water proof null

Not at all--the sweat from my running pouch destroyed mine.

It's "water resistant". The packaging states as long as the charging port is covered with the included cover, they are water resistant. I don't know exactly what that means - it's probably ok if you get caught in the rain, but I wouldn't go swimming the English Channel.
