“What is the battery life? Does it have a battery cable one could connect for charging simultaneously taking a video?”

• About two hours of battery life. Not sure if you are able to charge and record; I will be buying another battery just in case.

• The battery life depends on temperature, but in a normal setting, it will last up to 1 hour 30 minutes. I use it in our race car, where the temperatures exceed 115 degrees F, and it has lasted a little over an hour. I've had it last 1.5 hours, in normal temperature range. It does come with a charging cable - can't vouch for the recording while charging aspect of it, though.
