The camera is a great camera. However, there is no zoom, so that could be an issue for you. Also, it records in 5 minute segments - you can record 1 hour and 30 minutes on a full charge, but it will be broken into 18 segments, five minutes each. The camera will fit on any tripod with a standard mount. Hope this is helpful.
