Please try again later.When you have it as flush to the wall as possible it’s about 2-3 inches however if you pull it off the wall to extend it for whatever reason it goes approx 1 foot to 15 inches. I think it varies based on the type of tv you have. Since it’s a universal wall mount different TVs have different fittings for the bracket to be secured best. The Geek Squad guys are the best though. They handled my mount perfectly and were super helpful with my questions.
