will this work with a 40in insignia NS 40DS10NA17? null

I have the 39 1/2" Insignia and it mounted easily. The unit also has attachments for larger TV's. I highly recommend this wall mount.

I mounted a 46 inch Sharp and it worked fine. Best to check the manufacturer of the mount to have them cross reference the model of your TV.
