I see the shelf under the mounting area. Is that also a small shelf on the top? Also...would be great if this came in white as well to blend in better (aka not stick out like a sore thumb) with walls. Thanks! null

Yes there is a shelf on top I use it to put my cable box on it
Unfortunately it does not come in white but I am sure you could paint it if you like
I have gotten lots of compliments it gives the room a high end feel

What I like best about this piece beside its mobility is that it is usually used in an office environment 
When used in the home it gives your room a sense of a high end feel
