Simply, connect cable to microphone, then connect microphone cable to a karaoke player and sing. This microphone has a standard 1/4" (6.3mm) male cable end. What might look abnormal to you is the cable connection. Most microphones come with the cable that cannot be detached. With more professional microphones, singers like to have detachable cables like this one. That allows them to switch out microphones or walk away with a microphone and leave the cable behind. It's easier than having to chase down or roll up a cable. This microphone does not have songs built into it. It's just a microphone.
