“How do you use the usb input if it's rear facing? Where is the aux input? I purchased this unit and an having installed at best buy in a coupe weeks. The info says usb input but if it's on the rear how do you use it?”

The USB outout comes from the back of the head unit and what I’ve done in a couple of my cars is to route the cable through the glove box or somewhere on the dash trim that is somewhat obscure.
