• Yes have to buy 200 installation kit for everything to work like factory.

• Almost positive your on star and security system is hooked together. On this radio you have to bypass your factory stereo security to get this radio to work correctly. I’m thinking that it would effect it I’m just not sure in what way. Don’t know if that helps or not!?!?
