“After install the microphone worked just fine I asked Siri to call a friend, all worked well. Now it seems the microphone is not hearing me when I ask to call someone? When I make a call or someone calls me, they cannot hear my voice.”

This could be an issue with your mic. To test, disconnect from radio and connect to your phone with aux port. If Siri can hear you, mic is good.
