• Yes it does, it's an external cable and you can place it anywhere. I put it in my glove box. I think they did it this way so you can enjoy the whole monitor when you are watching a movie. This is a great unit by the way and I highly recommend it.

• Yeah it does, it has a cord that comes out you plug into.
