A:Answer Unlike what the Kenwood "expert" said, I do see that the "Specifications" area on the Best Buy website does, in fact, indicate that this particular head unit model comes with both a remote and a DVD player. See the attached picture with these areas highlighted - then you can go review this area yourself for confirmation. I would suggest that the Kenwood Expert get with Best Buy in order to update the Best Buy website to reflect accurate specifications of this head unit. I thank OP for their question to call attention to these issues prior to me making a purchase for my daughter's vehicle.
