• The numbers (6-12) refer to cups if you select carafe, and refer to ounces if you select pods.

• Yes, that is correct! The K-Duo Plus has the option to brew 6, 8, 10 or 12 ounces for a single cup brew or 6, 8, 10, 12 cups for a carafe brew.
