Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.THE KEURIG IS THE BEST COFFEE MAKER OUT THERE.I HAVE OWNED 3 KEURIG COFFEE MAKERS TO DATE EVERY ONE WAS A GREAT MACHINE.THE CURENT ONE I BOUGHT THE KEURIG K-DUO PLUS REPLACED MY OLD KEURIG K575 PLUS.NONE OF THEM HAVE NEVER LET ME DOWN,THEY HAVE PRODUCED COFFEE THE WAY I LIKE IT FOR MANY YEARS.THE NEW ONE HAS INPROVEMENTS OVER THE OLDER ONE.IF YOU WANT YOUR COFFEE RIGHT BUY A KEURIG.

The best coffee machine

When I had out of town visit I was able to brew a coffee pot of coffee vs the one cup brew. Love the design and Kuerig you did another amazing job. The handle on the water tank is great for an old lady like me. I can actually have something to hold on too.

Design flaw leaves brown water in filter basket

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok, so I love the Keurig products, but this one has a flaw and the warranty replacement does the same thing. The customer service to get a replacement was outstanding! But the flaw remains. Every time a k-cup is brewed, a bit of water\coffee leaks into the filter bowl. Over time, it builds up to the point that it overflows, which is how I found out about it. I rarely brew using the filter basket. Meanwhile, there is brown water sitting in the basket for days\weeks until it is emptied and washed out, unless you totally empty and wash your basket every day, using it or not. That water sitting in there can’t be healthy... The picture I attached is the amount of water in the filter basket after about 3 days of brewing. If I have to take this out and wash it every few days, then the ease of use rating goes way down. If I’m not using the filter to brew a pot, the water should totally bypass this area. I received excellent customer service and received a new brewer quickly after I called this issue to Keurig’s attention. But the new unit does the same thing. It is a design flaw. I’m disappointed, but will continue to buy Keurig products as my previous brewers were great performers.

- A:Answer Thank you for your question, Sue. To turn on the warming plate, press and hold the Carafe button for three seconds. The warming plate will stay on for another two hours. We hope this helps!

Q: QuestionIs it fast? For the singles and the carafe? Some Keurigs take longer than others. Does the water heat long before it will make the individual cups?

- A:Answer Mine takes about 10 minutes from a cold start for a 12 cup carafe from the time I press the power button on and select carafe, 12 cup, and push the brew button......or from the time the Auto timer kicks on. An 8 oz. K-cup takes about 4 minutes given the same cold start.

Q: QuestionCan you brew a single cup at same time a 12 cup carafe has been programmed for later use? And then, must you return the same amount of water you used for the single cup to the reservoir to ensure all 12 cups are available?

- A:Answer You will have to cancel the programming in order to brew a single cup. You must make sure the reservoir is full to have 12 cups of water available. Also, be sure to run a rinse cycle after the single cup and replace that amount of water as well.
