- Answer Yes, the water reservoir container pops off the unit and it can be cleaned 100%. After, it just pops back into the side of the machine.

QuestionWill this unit shut off automatically after some period of non-use, i.e., run a cycle and not another? I have a K-Supreme and after a while on that machine, it will power down if the lid isn't opened for a while. Does the Elite operate the same way?

- Answer Thank you for your question Javier. The K-Elite coffee maker has an Auto Off feature that automatically turns your brewer off 2 hours after the last brew for energy savings. You can also program your brewer to shut off in 15 minute increments after your last brew, or remain on all the time. We hope this helps!

- Answer Keurig with multi stream distribute the water to different areas of the pod, supposedly to improve the brew. The K-Elite has just a single needle through which the water enters the pod.

- Answer The filter and handle go in the water tank and filter the water before it goes into the chamber to be heated. If you use filtered water, the filter is not necessary. Btw, distilled water is NOT recommended for the the taste and can damage the machine over time.
