- Answer The High Altitude feature can be accessed through the Settings button. When the Coffee Maker is powered off, you are able to access the menu. Click through the menu using the settings button until you see the mountain icon. Make sure the screen says "off." Once successfully disabled, the mountain icon will no longer appear on the screen. We hope this helps!

QuestionOn a fixed income (SSDI) so honestly, how much better is result when making an iced coffee using that option on k-elite, vs the “old-fashioned way” using k-mini plus on the strong setting & small cup size, poured over ice? (& is 6oz stronger than 12oz?)

The Iced button on our K-Elite coffee maker makes it easy by pre-selecting the perfect settings so you can enjoy a full-flavored, delicious beverage when brewing over ice. You can always brew hot over ice from any of our brewers by selecting the 6oz. or 8 oz. brew size to make an iced beverage. Happy Brewing!

QuestionThe specifications for the Brushed Silver says there is no Clock/Timer, but the specifications for the Brushed Slate says there is a Clock/Timer. Is this just a misprint, aren’t the brewers the same, except for color?

Questiondoes this come ready to use k pods? I see the option to buy the universal kpod holder but didn't know if it was ready to be used out of the box or if I would have to go back and buy an additional item?

- Answer It comes ready to use, although I ran 2 pots of water trough it first. You do not need a pod holder that is personal preference. You can also use your own ground coffee with the removable pod and filter.
