• Not all models store water. This one does. If the water tastes bad you may need to clean the machine out w vinegar and water. Hope this helps.

• Only uses the amount of water from the 3 selection you choose. 8oz, 10 oz and 12 oz. It has a tank in the back that keeps the clean unused water. Tank is removable and can be cleaned.
