- Answer This machine is much quieter than my previous coffee maker, I have to look at it sometimes to make sure I have pushed the button to start because I can't hear anything.

- Answer With the Mini, you need to fill the water for every cup you make. The Slim has a water reservoir enabling you to make several cups with one fill.

QuestionWhy did my K-cup explode when I brewed it? Grounds and water went everywhere: in the cup, all over the inside of the pod holder and down the outside of the machine. When I used a re-fillable pod, it works fine.

- Answer Thanks for your question. Pre-puncturing pods can help with pressure build up and may relieve this issue you are experiencing. You can try this by placing the K-Cup pod into the holder and press down on the K-Cup pod to puncture the bottom before brewing to release this pressure. QuestionCan you use vinegar to clean and de-scale it? If so what ratio of vinegar to water should you use? Also, why can you not use distilled water? Can you use bottled water?

- Answer I have always cleaned with vinegar and water. I just pour about 1 cup vinegar to 4 cups water and let run through. Then I rinse out the reservoir completely and then a run a complete reservoir of just water through. I’m not sure about the distilled water but I am using bottled water on mine right now due to the winter storm and seem to have no issues.

- Answer This machine along with all coffee makers will have problems with scale buildup if you have hard water. Depending on how hard your water is as to how fast the scale builds up in it. The best solution is to put in a water softener to help keep the scale at bay.

- Answer Thanks for your question! We recommend using bottled or filtered water in your Keurig coffee maker. Coffee and tea are over 98% water so quality drinking water is necessary for a good coffee, tea or iced beverage. Our brewers can function properly with tap water. However, if using tap water, we suggest that it be filtered as it may help to improve taste. If you are using well or softened water, we recommend that you plan to descale your brewer every 3 months. We do not recommend using distilled water. We hope this is helpful!

- Answer Absolutely! And hot cocoa, hot cider, etc. It depends on the K-Cup Pod that you insert into the Keurig machine. You can buy the K-Cup Pods at any grocery store, Target, Wal Mart, Amazon., etc. Super easy and fun to use and no more spilled coffee grounds or drippy used tea bags =) I am sure you will love a Keurig machine! It is now my favorite kitchen appliance! Enjoy...
